Still seeking Rocky...

AN EVENING UPDATE ON ROCKY: A week ago we mentioned Desiree Britt's attempts to find her 15-year-old dachshund Rocky, who vanished about three weeks ago now from their Mesquite home near La Prada Drive, Bedford Drive and Oates Drive.

Desiree has an update, "I was contacted today by a lady who says she saw another lady pick him up ...  Here is what she said: He was trying to cross the street on Oates Drive at Gus Thomason at, she thought, a Chevron. A lady picked him up around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday Oct. 24. She was driving a lipstick-red Honda Civic -- a larger lady with light brown shoulder-length hair, approximately 26-30 years old and was wearing a white t-shirt that had 'Cowboys' on it. She [the witness] thought when the dog went to her [the lady in the car], it was her dog."

Desiree asks that we update the story in case someone knows someone who has a new dachshund and is trying to find a home for him.
