The World's Greatest Classical Music Station, Dallas' WRR-FM (101.1), is about to release a CD for dogs and dog owners: Roll Over Beethoven.
It's a collection of music that may be just the thing your dog wants to hear -- lots of classical music and a new piece called "Whiskers, A Kitty Walk."
The CD's contents were selected to meet the need for good music for animal ears. It arrives in May and the suggested retail price will be $12.99. This will be a nice addition to your "dog" music which, no doubt, includes the Baja Men's "Who Let The Dogs Out?", a song you probably will never hear on WRR unless Yo Yo Ma can come up with a nice cello arrangement.
(You can listen to WRR at 101.1 FM or on-line to the city-owned radio station at www.wrrfm.com.)
WRR, by the way, is the only City of Dallas Department that consistently has a pleasant sound -- well, there are those days when it broadcasts the city council meeting but, of course, the mayor usually turns those meetings into a sweet symphony of democracy.
