Once again, a reason to envy a slumbering critter: The absoluteness of the nap.
This is Fiona, presented during the first weekend of Spring 2010.
Her human, Carolyn Perkins, describes her as “a world class relaxer.”
Obviously when we saw this photo there was no doubt that we had our spotlight cat for the weekend’s feature, Let Sleeping Dogs Lie & Napping Cats Nap.
This cat knows how to nap. And don’t we wish we could achieve this level of naptification. Is that a word?
Carolyn says, “Fiona is my 3-year-old calico adopted from Dog ‘n’ Kitty City -- like most rescues she savors everything about living the good life--not the least of which is lying in the afternoon sun on couch pillows now permanently indented with her plump silhouette.”
Now, Fiona was not the last cat available from Dog ‘n’ Kitty City, the no-kill shelter in Dallas. And there are plenty of dogs there, too. If you want to get your own extraordinary sleeper, click HERE to visit the shelter site and see the inventory.
